Hi All. I'm finally getting around to adding to my Blog. News about my book, "Ten Miles from Aspen" is: I entered a self-publishing book contest with Writers Digest. There were thousands of entries and the judges were swamped. It took them longer than expected to go through all the entries. Well, I did not win, but I got a good review! Here are the results for my book:
Structure and Organization: 5
Grammar: 4
Production Quality and Cover Design: 4
Plot: N/A (this book is a memoir and does not apply to a plot)
Character Development: N/A (the character-me- definitely has developed!)
The judges comments of why she liked my book were very well received by me.
The judge gave suggestions on how to improve the book such as a couple of changes in wording on the back cover, no pg. number or header name on the last blank page, all chapter headings should show the dates in parentheses, some apostrophes missed, and a stronger editing should be done. (I now realize that professional editors are needed!)
So, even though I didn't win, I feel pretty good about the rating.

I have just published my latest novel titled ACUTE JUSTICE. You can only read this on Amazon’s Kindle e-book reader, or you can use their app for downloading to your computer and read it without a Kindle. The story is about wife abuse and, of course, a murder. You will be kept in suspense and end with a surprise. Enjoy!
