Joanne Brand is close to publishing a new novel, hopefully in 2020! It will be about World War I. She began penning this historical fiction before the movie, 1917 was ever known or advertised as coming out! Her novel is based on women in Colorado and prisoners of war. Details of the hate at home and abroad come to life. It is called simply The Last War and will go beyond the movie!
